9. 2014-15 Round of 16 vs. Schalke
With Real holding a 2-0 lead after the first leg not many expected Schalke to trouble the Whites in the bernabeu. However Schalke took the lead only to be thwarted by Ronaldo. When they scored again Ronaldo once again scored a towering header. Real lost the game 4-3 and nearly went out of the tournament. If not for Ronaldo’s performance they would have.

8. 2006-07 CL quarterfinals vs. Roma
Ronaldo prior to being one of the greatest player in CL history didn’t score in the tournament proper on his first 26 games. 3. 2016-17 CL quarter-final vs. Bayern
